PCCC #3 – Card Sketch

Paper Craft Crew Challenge #3 – Card Sketch

Happy 1st Anniversary

Welcome to the Paper Craft Crew Challenges!  Although this is only week # 3 of the Paper Craft Crew Challenges the majority of the design team are celebrating 1 year of design challenges as part of the Stampin' Queen's.  Many of us will still think of ourselves as the "Stampin' Queen's" but we are also looking forward to a new beginning, new challenges and more fun designing together as a team.

We continue to have some great participation with our second challenge but we want MORE participation and ask that you please pass on the word by sharing on your Facebook page, Pinterest, Twitter and anywhere else you can think of to share and get the word out about the Paper Craft Crew challenges!  Each time you participate "adds up" and may earn you an invitation to be a guest designer for a future challenge!  How cool is that…  Tomorrow I'll have a feature post showcasing several of the cards that were submitted along with details on how you can become a guest designer on a future challenge!  Also, the more participation by our readers increases the exposure for everyone from participants to the design team to Stampin' Up!

Not to sound like a broken record or anything but…  If you haven't signed up for email updates yet, please do so now!

As the new Challenge Blog develops, there will be new challenges, blog candy and more.  There will be a "Grand Kick-Off" for the new blog the end of October – I need to give myself time to get all my "thoughts & plans in order!"

The Paper Craft Crew is also on facebook and we would love to have you like us by clicking HERE!

So, stay tuned over the next couple of weeks and for now, please play along with this weeks challenge!

It's time for another outstanding sketch from the Paper Craft Crew, so grab your stamps & supplies and play along!

Here is the challenge!

PCCC 3 Card Sketch

Just some things to think about as you play along with us this week

  • You may flip or rotate the sketch, change or replace the shapes, but please make sure the general layout is recognizable.
  • Share a direct link to your creation, not just your blog, using the InLinkz feature at the end of this post. If InLinkz is down, please add a link with your comment.
  • If you don't have a blog, don't worry!  You can still use inLinkz by linking to your photo posted on Facebook or a similar social media site.
  • The Paper Craft Crew Design Team are Stampin' Up! Demonstrators and as such, we would like to see a minimum of 2 Stampin' Up! products used on your card but don't let that stop you from participating.
  • When uploading to online galleries, please use keyword PCCC3 or SQSC 52.

  • POSTING END TIME:  If you'd like to be considered as one of our spotlight cards, please be sure to link your project by Monday 7 AM EST and  link your post over to here too 🙂

  • VOTING:  I'm trying something new!  Starting on Monday, August 20th at 7 AM EST, you can start voting on the entries.  The voting will end on Tuesday, August 21st at 10 AM EST.

Now, here's what the Paper Craft Crew have come up with, using this week's sketch…

PCCC 1 – Featured Cards

Paper Craft Crew Challenges # 1

Featured Cards

I would like to thank all the participants in our very first Paper Craft Crew Challenge!  It was so much fun seeing the participation along with each individuals card creations.  Here are three cards that we have selected to feature.

Now, I alluded to the possibility of individuals being invited to be a guest designer in the future…  Here is what you need to do in order to be invited to participate as a guest designer here at the Paper Craft Crew Challenges.

  • Regular Participation!
    • This means that you participate in at least 5 out of 8 challenges within a 60 day period.  So, from August 1 to October 1st, participate in 5 challenge and you may receive an invitation to be a guest designer on a future challenge.
    • Do your best work!

      • Create a card that depicts your style and creativity while using a sketch from the Paper Craft Crew.

That is it!  The rules are pretty simple.  Final determination for design team participation will be determined by the current design team.

Again, thank you to everyone that participated!  Here are the featured cards for PCCC 1…
