PCC248 Mid-Week Inspiration Challenge Shaker Card With Eastern Palace Product Suite

Hello there! I had a video all ready for this to go about 6 weeks ago. It was too long, despite the extensive editing. I also just found it, in the wrong folder, and didn’t edit it apparently, so who knows what the mystery video is. Maybe I’ll have to give that a try. This gal took some time.

I was at a girlfriend’s house at the beginning of May and she had this great pillow on her front porch. I immediately thought of the new Eastern Palace Suite with the new In Colors. I took a couple of pictures and sent them off to Pam, and thus, our very FIRST INSPIRATION challenge was born!

Paper Craft Crew Inspiration Challenge 248. Play along at www.papercraftcrew.com #inspirationchallenge #pcc2017 #craft

I have a unique card for you today that features using some of the stickers in the Eastern Palace Suite. My struggle was getting the circle sticker around the 2″ shaker pouch on my card. I had to cut WAAYYY inside of the circle to line it up with the pouch. Please see below a picture of me sizing it up and fitting it around the shaker pouch. You can see where I cut around the sticker and laid it over the shaker pouch.

If this is something you want to try yourself, cut the INSIDE of the circle up towards the center of the circle where you just have enough gold around the circle for a cohesive look. I strongly recommend photocopying the circle onto very lightweight/see-through vellum paper, not card stock. There is a big difference in the weight with both. You want to keep it around the 20-25 lb weight. It will go through your printer much easier and give you play time before you start cutting into the real stickers. I did this and it worked perfect. No consumables were wasted, especially those fabulous stickers!

Don’t you just LOVE the vivid colors, the gold vinyl sticker I put on top of the 2″ shaker pouch that I filled up with blue, green and clear seed beads. This gal shakes! The stickers are part of the product suite. I also adhered one of the new Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to the center of the vinyl flower as it really did need a dress-up with that one embellishment.

I hope that you enjoy this shaker card that I made with the Eastern Palace Product Suite!

Thank you so very much for stopping by to visit us today and God bless. We hope to see you for our new challenge tomorrow! I do apologize for not posting this weekend. It was my birthday on Father’s Day.
